Pancho Villa Grille – Clarksville, TN

Aug 31, 2013 by

I have dined at the Pancho Villa Grille off of exit 11 several times. Tonight we were trying to decide where to get a quick bite to eat and Mexican food sounded like a good option. The main seating in the restaurant was full so we were seated in the new addition. By the time we left, the place was completely packed. I was glad we arrived when we did. The new addition was awesome. I felt like I was on a beach in Mexico.

The food has always been good, but tonight it was excellent! The chips had a hint of lime, which I always love in homemade corn chips. This was the first Mexican restaurant in Clarksville that had the perfect chip in my book. I couldn’t help but down a handful. I decided to divert from my usual cheese enchiladas and ventured to try their vegetarian burrito. What a great choice. One burrito would have been plenty, but this dish came with 2 burritos smothered in queso and stuffed to the max with an array of grilled veggies. My son enjoyed every bit of the broccoli from my burrito and kept dipping his chips in the saucy mess on my plate. Our meat lover went for the California pork burrito. It was huge. I had a little taste of the seasoning that filled his burrito. It was delicious! With a mix of pineapple and papaya salsa, beans, rice and pork, it had a very authentic beach flavor. My son was not in the mood for Mexican food so he ordered the chicken fingers. He was pleased with his choice.

Overall the service was great. The food was excellent. The new addition was beautiful. I will definitely be back when I’m in need of another mex-fix.
